(ROTARY WEEKLY GUEST SPEAKER TIM KROUSE AND ROTARY WEEKLY STUDENT GUEST NORA GANNAWAY)

An appreciation for Effingham Country Club was a focus at a recent meeting of the Effingham Noon Rotary Club.

A particular focus of Tim Krouse, Club Professional at the Country Club, was the efforts to make the sport of golf available to young golfers. Krouse focused on the number of young golfers and high school golf teams in the area and the success they've had.

Effingham Country Club has been in operation for more than 100 years.

The Rotary student guest was Nora Gannaway, the daughter of Nathan and Stephanie Gannaway and a senior at St. Anthony High School. Nora sings, loves to go jeepin with her friends, coloring and taking nature walks. She is headed for a university degree in Communications and Marketing. She was second runner-up in this year's Effingham County Fair Queen Pageant.
