Fall Community Celebration was a Hit

The 2023 Effingham Fall Community Celebration Tuesday evening was a success.

A good turnout was seen at Evergreen Hollow Park during the celebration, which is sponsored by the Effingham Police Department.

Effingham area residents were invited to enjoy food and drinks, prizes and games. 

Those who attended had the opportunity to meet and interact with local law enforcement, telecommunicators, city public workers, firefighters, EMS personnel, members of the Effingham Army National Guard unit, and air and ground ambulance services.

Ironically, an actual medical emergency occurred during the event, so plenty of personnel were on hand to assist. The individual was treated and then taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital for further examination.
