Roadway Work Tuesday and Wednesday Mornings at Moccasin and Lake Sara Roads

On Tuesday (8/21) and Wednesday (8/22) from 6 am to 9 am, roadwork will result in significant delays at the intersection of 1600th Ave (Moccasin Rd) and 1000th St (Lake Road at Foreway Golf).

1600th Ave will also be closed from 1000th St to Nazarene Road during this time. The Effingham County Highway Department requests the public avoid this intersection if possible, during these times for the safety of the public and those working in it.

Highway Department officials say, "We understand this will be an inconvenience, but once the work is completed it will be a great improvement for the area."
