Rotary District Governor Visits Effingham Noon Club

Rotary District 6490 Governor Janet Ellis-Nelson was the special guest speaker at the Effingham Noon Rotary Club meeting on August 9. 

Ellis-Nelson is a Danville area native who was a school teacher for 30 years and a principal for another nine years. She and her husband have both been active in Rotary at the club and district levels.

Ellis-Nelson spoke to the need to help others through Rotary, either by service or by charitable gifts...She also encouraged Rotarians to be active in inviting others to join Rotary in hopes of boosting attendance and enrollment, and in making more people avaiable for Rotary service.

Assistant District Governor Ashley Dillingham, immediate past president of the Effingham Noon Club, introduced the district governor.
