Neoga school board members this month approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Stewardson-Strasburg school district regarding nursing services for the coming school year.

The Board also secured psychologist services for the district with Christy Elder, and approved a memorandum of understanding with the Neoga Teachers Association regarding reimbursement for teachers who take classes to maintain their academic standing. The amount of reimbursement increased from $10,000 to $15,000 for the teachers to share.

Neoga board members named Jerry Hanfland to the Eastern Illinois Area Special Education Board with Angie Worman serving as alternate, and agreed to participate in the free breakfast and lunch program available for the coming four years. The board agreed to participation for the coming school year.

The Neoga board also named Mike Taylor as junior high head softball coach, and approved Matt Frankie and Julie Estay as volunteer assistant junior high softball coaches.
