The Dieterich board approved cyber security upgrades proposed by Quality Network Solutions. The District will be switching from Kaspersky to Fortinet for the Endpoint Detection and Response. The effort is to allow the District to more accurately detect, remediate and prevent cyber attacks.

The Board approved a construction change order to address unforeseen plumbing issues, including leaking valves, adding shut off valves, and replacing a water line in the junior high hallway.

Board members accepted a bid from Butch Knicley totaling $2,500 for a 2010 Blue Bird bus.

In personnel moves, the Dieterich board approved an extended unpaid leave of absence for Kelsie Probst for the 2023-2024 school year, and hired as aides for the upcoming school year Lisa Hushaw, Tia Cowger, Morgan Flach, Amanda Baxter and Beth Niemerg.

Also Monday, Jackson shared with the Board about the county property tax multiplier of 1.0177 and how that multiplier will affect the tax cycle.
