Road Oiling North of Altamont Tuesday Morning

Effingham County Highway Department will be oiling North of Altamont on 300th St, between 1400th Ave and 1600th Ave (Moccasin Rd) on Tuesday (7/11/23). This work will result in the road being closed to thru traffic from 8:30 am to approximately 10:30 am.

Please remember to drive slow in this area as the road may be dusty and there may be loose rock for a few days after the work is completed. If you have any questions please feel to the contact the Effingham County Highway Department at 217-342-6550.
