ISP Steps Up Patrols in Effort to Reduce Crashes

Illinois State Police have been making their presence known in an effort to reduce the number of traffic crashes on area roadways.

A listener asked us Thursday why there were so many squad cars along I-70 west of Effingham to St. Louis? We posed the question to ISP and got this response...

"Interstate 70 is a high crash corridor and ISP is focusing efforts this week to reduce crashes and bring awareness to the issue to the motoring public."
