Storm damage has been reported throughout the area from Thursday's early afternoon incident, particularly in Cumberland County.

Both Neoga and Toledo were hit hard.

The residential neighborhood in the north and west part of Neoga suffered damage. A tree hit a house next door to the home of our own Dustin White.

One home suffered damage in their kitchen and dining area, as seen here...

Here's one of the many uprooted trees in the area...

The latest information is that Neoga residents west of US Route 45 are still without power as of 9am today, except for the residential areas in the northwest part of town. That, though, is the area where the storm photos are coming from.

Neoga officials say they are bringing a dumpster in that should be in place about midday. The dumpster can be used by residents to dispose of spoiled food items.

Power interruptions are being experienced in a large region of Central Illinois. Outages are still afffecting Greenup, Neoga, Mattoon and Shelbyville, and there were almost 3,000 outages reported in the Tuscola area.
