Effingham will again host a 4th of July fireworks display. The fireworks will be launched just after 9pm at the Effingham High School athletic complex.

The fireworks are sponsored by Effingham Noon Rotary, and will be funded by the City of Effingham and a number of other donors.

A veterans honor guard will present the colors, and the National Anthem will be shared just before the start of the fireworks display.

Refreshments will be available at the Effingham Event Center beginning at 6pm, including Toppins' Soft Serve, Macklin's Kettle Corn, and hamburgers, porkburgers and hot dogs cooked by the Effingham Knights of Columbus Council #665. A reminder that state and local liquor laws prohibit you from bringing your own alcohol onto the Event Center premises.

There will be live music provided by Danny Shelton and the Bird Dogs at the Event Center both before and after the fireworks display.
