North Clay School Board Approves Three-Year Teacher Contract

North Clay school board members have finalized a contract for the coming three school years with members of the North Clay Education Association. The Board also approved a memorandum of understanding with the Association for the recently completed school year.

Board members also approved several personnel moves. Kay Hammond's resignation as a paraprofessional was accepted, and Rashelle Brooker and Nicole Boose were hired as paraprofessionals for the coming school year.

Hunter Clifton's resignation as high school baseball assistant coach was accepted, but Clifton's request to stay on as an unpaid volunteer assistant coach was approved. Phil Givens was approved as high school girls basketball assistant coach was approved and his resignation as a volunteer was okayed. Maddie Craig was hired as junior high girls volleyball assistant coach was approved and her resignation as an assistant was approved. Erika Yates was approved as a volunteer junior high girls volleyball coach was approved, and she will work with the sixth graders. Kim Teague was hired as head junior high Scholar Bowl coach, and Callaway Campton's resignation as volunteer high school track and field coach was accepted.
