National Day of Prayer Observance in Effingham Will be Wednesday

The 2023 National Day of Prayer Observance in Effingham is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3.

The observance will take place at the Keller Convention Center from 7:30 to 9am. 

The guest speaker will be nationally-known educator Joe Fatheree.

Admission to the breakfast is free, but you will need a ticket to attend. The free tickets are available at the studios of WXEF and KJ Country at Fayette and Willow, and at the offices of Tom Henderson State Farm Insurance at Section and Third.

A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Ed Shaddai Homes, to open this fall as a shelter for expectant mothers and their newborns.
