Brownstown School Board Considers Solar Field Work

Brownstown school board members this week approved membership in the Illinois Elementary School Association for the coming school year, and authorized Superintendent Mike Shackelford to advertise for rock and site work bids related to a solar field project.

Shackelford was also authorized to begin working on a proposed budget for the coming school year. Policy updates were approved for first reading, and the Board accepted the resignation of Michelle Baker as a route bus driver, effective at the end of the school year. It was also agreed to seek bids on bread and milk.
