Man Killed in Clay County by Piece of Equipment

A Clay County man was fatally injured Thursday by a piece of equipment.

60-year-old Kevin W. Frohning was injured at Nutrien Ag Solutions on the west side of Ingraham shortly before noon. First responders adminstered lifesaving measures, but the coroner's office was called at 12:30pm. 

Frohning was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:35pm. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Results are not expected for several weeks.

Clay County Coroner Bryce Henry's office was assisted by Ingraham/Clay City First Responders, Clay County Ambulance Service, and the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
