Effingham Regional Career Academy Explore Class Enrollment Open

Enrollment in the Effingham Regional Career Academy's Explore ERCA Class for both Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 is now open.  

Explore ERCA is a one-semester, morning course that explores career opportunities in five career pathways - Health Care, Transportation, Manufacturing, Agriculture, and Information Technology - in both classroom learning and business interaction. Students will spend time in local businesses to learn about local career opportunities and skills needed to be successful employees.  

Explore ERCA is open to both juniors and seniors in local high schools. Enrollment in both sessions is limited.  Interested students can enroll at bit.ly/ExploreERCA.  They may also enroll through their local high school guidance office.  Students need to supply their own laptop, transportation; must have maintained a C average in the previous semester and have no more than 10 absences in previous school year.

An Explore ERCA orientation will be held Thursday, April 27 at 6:30pm at Dieterich Bank Corporate Center, 300 Surs Woods Drive, Effingham.  Students, parents, school officials and interested community members are welcome to attend.
