$610,000 Grant Awarded for Sidewalk Project in St. Elmo

Almost $128 million has been awarded through ITEP, the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program, to expand travel options and enhance quality of life in communities across the state.

This year's program is the largest ever.

One project was announced for our area, in St. Elmo. There are plans to construct approximately 12,000 square feet of sidewalk from Main Street, east through the community commercial corridor ending at Dollar General and Dieterich Bank.
