Negotiations on Contract Today at EIU

A bargaining session was underway today between negotiators for the Eastern Illinois University Board of Trustees and Local 4100 of the EIU University Professionals of Illinois.
A strike by members of the union began Thursday and continues today.
The union has indicated that compensation and workload are the remaining issues to be resolved.
