Teutopolis Board Agrees to Seek Water Line Replacement Grant

Teutopolis village board members have agreed to seek grant funds to help pay for the replacement of cast iron water lines in the village.

The grant request is for $2,411,580. It's an 80/20 grant request, meaning the village would have to come up with $482,316 in matching funds.

It's not clear when the village will hear whether the grant request is approved. 

The funding would allow the replacement of any remaining cast iron lines in the village.
