South Central Scores Well at FFA Proficiency Awards

The South Central High School FFA Chapter had a successful night at the District 4 Proficiency Awards earlier this month.

Alec Hiestand placed 1st in the area of Forest Products and Management. Hiestand will move on to State Awards later this month.

Hailey Shuler placed 2nd in Diversified Livestock Production, qualifying for Top 10 in the state.

Jacob Hilmes placed 2nd in Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources, and reached Top 10 in the state.

Callaway Smith placed 2nd in Wildlife Production and Management, and Top 10 in the state.

Chase Thompson received Honorable Mention in Sheep Production, Alec Hiestand received Honorable Mention in Section Star Ag Business, and Morgan Robb received Honorable Mention in Poultry Production.
