El Shaddai Homes is designed to be a residential maternity home for pregnant women and their children.

El Shaddai Homes Founder Lisa Krampe said goals for the home include:

--mandatory church services in the facility during the week

--mandatory prenatal care

--mandatory parenting classes

--mandatory money management classes

--classes for needing a GED or mandatory high school attendance

--help with filling out a resume

--help with filling out paperwork for college classes

El Shaddai Homes will be located in the former Brookstone Estates at 505 West Temple in Effingham, and should open soon.
