Brownstown School Board Acts on Personnel

Brownstown school board members Monday acted on several personnel matters.

The Board employed Kaci Satterthwaite as a part-time cook, and employed Michele Seabaugh as a junior high boys track coach. The Board also employed Owen Karnes as assistant bass fishing coach.

Board members accepted a letter of resignation from Jeremy Zerrusen as assistant bass fishing coach and approved Zerrusen as a volunteer assistant bass fishing coach. The Board also approved a 2023 sequence of honorable dismissal list.

Brownstown board members approved the purchase and installation of carpeting in classrooms at Brownstown Elementary School, approved an agreement with Phillip Christensen Architect for work on a maintenance shed project, and approved a sex equity evaluation tool to evaluate district policies.

The Board also approved an intergovernmental agreement for alternative education programs for the coming school year, and agreed that the Brownstown district will be the administrative agent for the Fayette County Early Childhood Block grant. Board members also approved the calendar for the coming school year.
