Alma Resident Arrested on Armed Robbery Charge in Indiana

An Alma man is in custody in Washington, Indiana where he is charged with armed robbery.

A warrant has been active since January for the arrest of 21-year-old Jacob Lindsey, who is charged with a robbery at a gas station in April 2018. There's no information as to why the charges have been filed almost four years after the incident.

Marion County sheriff's deputies assisted Washington County authorities in Lindsey's arrest in Alma. The Effingham County Sheriff's Office also assisted Indiana authorities in the investigation that led to Lindsey's arrest.

Bond for Lindsey was set at $250,000.
