Altamont Board Acts on Policies, Personnel

Altamont school board Monday approved updated language on three district policies, and took action on some personnel matters.

The Board accepted the resignation of Corbin Schwable. Those hired were Suzanne Jackson and Michelle Stewart as grade school paraprofessionals, Jared Stuckemeyer as technology coordinator, Sam Plum as high school Industrial Arts teacher for next school year, and Rob Zumbahlen as high school Business teacher for next school year.

The Board decided against releasing any minutes of previous closed sessions as they pertain to personnel and other confidential matters, and approved an overnight trip for FFA to attend the Ground Zero Conference in Champaign.
