The Altamont Board of Education Monday approved some personnel changes.

The Board accepted resignations from Ross Cornett as co-tech director, Mackenzie Florida as a paraprofessional, and Keith Evans as a custodian. Also approved was employment of Corbin Schwable as health/PE teacher as the high school and Deena Love as paraprofessional at the grade school.

The Board discussed policy changes, and voted to approve changes in the high school course catalog to allow Basic Agricultural Science to count as a Science credit. Also approved was a Family and Medical Leave Act leave for an employee.

Altamont Board members also approved the 2022 tax levy based on a 7% increase in the district's Equalized Assessed Valuation from the previous year.
