Chuck Hartke Talks w/Noon Rotarians

Retired State Representative Chuck Hartke was the guest speaker at the October 5 meeting of the Effingham Noon Rotary Club.

Hartke is an author and spoke about his two books, "A Farm Boy's Journey Into Politics" and "The Boy Box Turtle". Hartke has copies of both books available. He also took questions, most of which focused on politics and his time in the Illinois General Assembly as well as his tenure as Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Noon Rotarian Julie Stephens served as Rotary weekly program chairman.

Noon Rotary President Ashley Dillingham also inducted the club's newest member, Effingham Unit 40 Superintendent Andy Johnson.
