Flora Couple Arrested on Counts of Aggravated Battery of a Child

A Flora couple has been arrested on multiple Class X Felony counts of aggravated battery of a child.

Clay County State's Attorney Phillip Givens said 39-year-old Scottie A. Adler and his wife, 20-year-old Miranda A. Adler were taken into custody Friday.

The Clay County State's Attorney's Office thanked the Flora Police Department for their investigation and the Clay County Sheriff's Department in assisting with the arrests.

In court Friday, Judge Joel Powless set bond for each of the Adlers at $500,000 and ordered that they should have no contact with the children allegedly involved.
