Hemmen Resigns as United Way CPO

Linda Hemmen has submitted her resignation as Chief Professional Officer of United Way of Effingham County.

The letter of resignation indicated that Hemmen plans to pursue other interests.

The announcement submitted by United Way Board President Debbie Womack shared that "The Board cannot thank Linda enough for her dedication and passion. Under Linda's leadership and commitment since 2004, United Way of Effingham County has raised over $5,000,000 for local partner agencies. 

The statement continued, "The Board of Directors has begun the search for a new Chief Professional Officer. We appreciate Linda's continued commitment and invaluable service as she continues to provide her support to United Way of Effingham County during this transition."
