The 2022 Effingham County Fair opens Saturday.

This year's fair theme is "Country Pride Spread County Wide". 

Here's the Saturday schedule:

--7:30am--5K Run

--9am--Car Show, sponsored by Heartland Towing

--10am--Ranch Sorting

--Noon to 10pm--CDubs Inflatables

--6:30pm--Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League, sponsored by Beck's

As far as the 4-H and Junior Show schedule for Saturday:

--8:00am--Sheep Check-In and Weigh-In

--9:00am--Swine Check-In and Weigh-In

--10:30am--4-H Boer Goat Show

--10:30am--4-H Tractor Driving

--4:00pm--Pee Wee Show

--6:00pm--Junior Swine Show

A reminder that harness racing begins on Sunday and continues each day through Friday. Post time is 1pm each day except Friday, when post time is 12 noon. You can hear the Sunday races on Classic Hits 979XFM. The Monday through Friday races can be heard on KJ Country 102.3. 

A reminder, too, that we will air 4-H judging results each day Monday through Friday at 8:45am and on Monday, August 8 at 8:45am on KJ Country 102.3.
