St. Elmo School Board Acts on Personnel Decisions

Personnel matters dominated the agenda at this week's St. Elmo school board meeting.

The Board approved a contract with Stacy Gibson as speech/language pathologist, approved coaching and extracurricular assignments, and re-employed support staff members.

Also approved was the resignation of Jamie Wilson as junior high softball assistant coach. Gabi Frailey was hired as summer custodian, Patrick Mays was hired as a high school Business teacher, resignations were accepted from Marcia Heckert as district treasurer and from Cinde Carroll as district bookkeeper, and Robin Verdeyen was hired as a fulltime bus driver beginning in August.

Board members also approved the hiring of additional summer help, as needed.
