Groundbreaking for EHS Turf Field/Scoreboard Project Today

Today's the day for the groundbreaking ceremony for the turf field and scoreboard project at Effingham High School.

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm at Klosterman Field, to be known officially now as Klosterman Field at Washington Savings Bank Stadium.

The bank made a sizable donation and secured naming rights for the facility. A mega scoreboard will also be a part of the project.

The project is expected to be completed in time for the football season in August, but the field is also expected to be utilized for a number of other sports and by the band.
