South Central FFA Fares Well at Section, State

South Central FFA members recently competed at the Section 19 Dairy Cattle Evaluation Career Development Event. The section contest was held at the Bond County Fairgrounds in Greenville.

The team consisted of 11 members. Kayley Lacey placed 2nd individually in the section. The team as one placed 2nd as well.

Section participants included: In the back row (left to right) Brandt Hiestand, Wyatt Green, Briar Brown, Alec Hiestand, Riley Schaal, and Kage Hiestand. The front row (left to right) Hailey Shuler, Keira Langley, Reagan Roberts, Kayley Lacey, and Evan Hoover.

South Central FFA members also competed at State Dairy Cattle Evaluation Career Development Event. The state contest was held at Kaskaskia College in Centralia. One of the South Central participants, Evan Hoover, placed 13th overall in the competition. The team placed 10th overall.
