Strasburg Resident Chosen LLC Student Trustee

A Strasburg resident has been chosen the new student trustee on the Lake Land College Board of Trustees.

Maggie Kelly was elected as part of the student government elections. Kelly will serve for the next year and will have a seat at all Board of Trustees meetings.

Kelly was seated at the Board of Trustees meeting earlier this month. That meeting also saw the election of Board officers for the next term. The current officers were re-elected to another term. They include Board Chairman Mike Sullivan of Mattoon, Vice-Chairman Gary Cadwell of Mode, and Board Secretary Tom Wright of Dieterich. 

The Board also heard about plans for an in-person graduation ceremony, to be held on Friday, May 13 at 6pm.
