Special events are planned on Good Friday and Easter Sunday at The Cross at the Crossroads.

A Good Friday prayer service will feature music by local musicians from First Presbyterian Church of Effingham from 6:45 to 7:15pm. That will be followed by a spiritual message and prayer from Father Michael Berndt.

Following the prayer service, the Cross will glow red to signify the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. The cross will remain red until Easter Sunday morning.

An Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at the Cross will begin at 6:30am. The service will include a spiritual message and prayer from Pastor Paul Bauer.

You are encouraged to take your lawn chairs as limited seating will be available. In case of inclement weather, the sunrise service will be held in the Chapel at the Cross. Light refreshments will be served in the Cross Welcome Center immediately following the sunrise service.
