Beecher City Board Chooses Officers

Beecher City school board members chose officers for the coming year at this week's meeting.

David Doty was chosen Board President, while Ryan Schaefer was chosen Vice-President, and Jordan Shields was elected Board Secretary.

The Board accepted the resignation of Andrew Noble as a certified staff member. Noble is headed to the Cowden-Herrick district. Board members also approved the sports requisitions for the coming school year, the renewal of TeacherEase for next year, updates in the handbook, and the updates in the ESSER II grant.

Board members approved the six-month review of the district's In-Person Learning Plan, approved updates to the junior/senior high school office, and approved upgrades at the baseball diamond.

Beecher City board members also approved Brock Friese as Dean of Students and approved Sarah Kirchhofer as an elementary teacher.
