Details Released on Crash Last Week at Fayette and Banker

Effingham City Police have released details on a crash that occurred last week at Fayette and Banker.

The crash happened just before 10pm on December 29, and involved vehicles driven by 55-year-old Carrol Rodgers of Cisne and 39-year-old Michael Craigmiles of Effingham. Police report the vehicle driven by Rodgers struck the Craigmiles vehicle. 

Rodgers was transported for treatment to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, while Craigmiles refused medical treatment.

Rodgers was cited for failure to yield, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and illegal transportation of alcohol.
