Two Pickups and a Semi Collide in Marion County

Two pickup trucks and a semi were involved in a crash just after 3pm Monday in Marion County.

The crash happened on Illinois Route 37 at Tonti Road, north of Salem. Illinois State Police report a pickup truck driven by 18-year-old Austin Lange of Edgewood was southbound on Route 37 and rear-ended a pickup truck driven by 60-year-old Charles B. Wilson of Teutopolis, pushing Wilson's pickup truck into a semi driven by 29-year-old Stephen Getz of Eureka. Getz had been stopped, waiting to turn left off the highway onto Tonti Road. 

Wilson was taken for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

Lange was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
