Brownstown Board Approves Infrastructure Projects

Brownstown school board members Monday approved heating and air conditioning projects.

The Board approved a contract with Hurste-Roche for HVAC work at Brownstown Junior-Senior High School, and okayed a contract with GRP/Wegman for Phase 2 HVAC work at Brownstown Elementary School.

Board members also accepted a proposal for asbestos repair work with IDEAL Environmental; accepted a proposal from Security Alarm to expand security and surveillance systems; approved purchase of educational technology devices through the Digital Equity grant; approved substitute pay rates for the balance of the school year; and approved abating the property tax for alternate revenue bonds for 2022.
