Two Semis Collided on Northbound I-57, Big Traffic Backup

Two semis collided on northbound I-57 between Neoga and Mattoon about 4:30pm Wednesday. The collision and the resulting debris resulted in a lengthy traffic backup.

Fortunately, no injuries resulted from the crash.

Traffic was backed up for miles and the debris had both northbound and southbound traffic shut down for several hours last evening. 

Things are back to normal today.
