COVID-Related Death Over Weekend in Effingham County

Effingham County Health Department announced the death of an individual in their 60s; the individual was unvaccinated. The death brings the number of confirmed COVID-related deaths in the county since the pandemic began to 104.

The Health Department also announced 31 new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease have been reported Friday through Sunday. 13 of those were under age 40.
