Red Regiment Has Good Week at EIU Festival

The Effingham High School Marching Hearts Red Regiment had a successful weekend at the Eastern Illinois University Panther Marching Band Festival.

The band performed their show, "Romeo and Juliet", placing second in Class 4A. They also took home Best Percussion.

The next performance for the Red Regiment is Saturday, October 2 at the Marching Eagles Band Classic in Newton. They will perform at 12:45pm.

The Red Regiment also performed on September 18 at the Sage City Invitational in Monticello. They placed 1st in 1A, took home Best Drum Majors, Best Music, and Best Color Guard.

The Marching Hearts Band Festival is set for Saturday, October 16.
