Beecher City Woman Injured in Monday Evening Crash

A Beecher City woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday evening.

66-year-old Tina Martin was traveling westbound on 1850th Avenue, a half-mile west of 100th Street on the south side of Beecher City when Martin lost control of her vehicle. The car began to skid, crossed into the north ditch, and struck a power pole. The car then overturned and came to rest in a field.

Martin was taken from the scene to HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

The crash happened just before 6pm Monday. No citations were issued.
