Brownstown school board members took action on several items at Monday's meeting.

The Board approved a memorandum of understanding with the Brownstown Education Association and the Brownstown Education Support Personnel Association related to COVID guidelines; approved a Section 125 plan with American Fidelity Assurance Company; and hired Taylor Cloe as a district aide.

The Board retained Apex Network to conduct a functional job analysis; okayed installation of an electronic entry system; and hired IEAL Environmental to conduct asbestos random sampling tests.

A public hearing on the tentative budget will be held Monday, September 20 in the Distance Learning Lab at Brownstown High School. The budget will be on display in the District office until the hearing.
