Grubaugh Hired at North Clay as District Administrator

North Clay school board members this week hired Rich Grubaugh as district administrator.

North Clay Superintendent Travis Wyatt said Grubaugh will serve as dean of students and athletic director, along with other supervisory positions, leading to the decision to call his position the district administrator.

Also this week, the North Clay board accepted the resignation of Travis Mulvaney as an elementary teacher, hired Christina Sisk as an elementary teacher, made Kali Carrol's position as elementary and junior high counselor a full-time position, hired Mayana Blair a special education teacher at the elementary level, accepted the resignation of Brian Wattles as high school PE teacher but to retain him as a substitute teacher, accepted the resignation of Josh Zink as 5th and 6th grade girls basketball coach, and granted the administration to fill open positions in the school district.

North Clay board members also approved the district's tentataive Return to School Plan, and approved Wyatt to negotiate with Twin City Energy on the best pricing for electric energy.
