IDOT has announced that more than 30 Alternative Fuels Corridor signs have been posted on interstates statewide, with another 20 going up this summer. It's part of a national effort to promote alternative fuels.

Signs have been posted or will be installed along eastbound Interstate 70 east of Effingham and westbound Interstate 70 near the Indiana state line, as well as along six other interstates.

Governor Pritzker is targeting 100% renewable energy in the state before 2050, with a goal of putting one million electric vehicles on the roads in Illinois by 2030.
