The Brownstown Board of Education had a busy meeting this week.

The Board approved a two-year contract extension for junior-senior high school principal Jeff Wooters; approved administrator salaries for the coming school year; and ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the Brownstown Education Support Personnel Association.

Board members approved installation of a stair lift at the junior-senior high school building; adopted an amended school calendar for the coming year; hired Thomas Hartnagel as high school Science teacher for the coming school year; and accepted the resignation of Kystryn Fitch as high school basketball assistant coach.

The Board also held a public hearing on an amended budget for the current fiscal year, then adopted the budget.
