One Person Injured in Crash North of Effingham Thursday

Details are in from Illinois State Police on the crash north of Effingham along I-57 late Thursday morning.

The crash happened about four miles north of town at 11:49am. Police report a pickup truck driven by 63-year-old Thomas Snyder II of Bloomington was northbound when the unit ran off the roadway to the left and into the median. The vehicle overturned and came to rest upright.

The report on the crash indicates that Snyder refused medical attention.

Snyder was cited for improper lane usage.
