Teutopolis village board members agreed to close a portion of Pearl Street to accommodate the Cruise Night activities at the Teutopolis Banquet Hall.

Pearl will be closed from Elm Street, north to the railroad tracks. IDOT is supplying a message board to be placed on Main Street to let motorists know the portion of Pearl will be closed during tonight's event.

The Board held a hearing on delinquent utility bills, and did shut off a couple of properties until the utility bill is paid. Also, Phil Repking spoke to the Board about a need for additional time to complete concrete work at his home and shed in Prairie View Subdivision.

The Board released any claim on a lot in Prairie View belonging to the Jane Pruemer Trust, approved bond reimbursements on three other lots in Prairie View, and awarded concrete work to repair Harvestor Street to John L. Lewis Construction for $14,450.
