The criminal cases in Nevada of the pair charged in a Shelby County murder case could be resolved this week, and the men could be returned here within a month.

Clayton Anderson of Shelbyville and Thomas Miller of Decatur are charged in the April death of Sherry Hubbartt of Clarksburg. Anderson is Hubbartt's grandson.

Anderson is charged in Shelby County with first degree murder, as well as concealment of homicidal death and possession of a stolen vehicle. Miller is charged with concealment of homicidal death and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Shelby County State's Attorney Nichole Kroncke Tuesday said that Anderson and Miller are due in court on Thursday. Miller faces a misdemeanor count there, while Anderson is charged with eluding a police officer. Kroncke said that if the Nevada matters are concluded this week, the process of returning Anderson and Miller to Illinois can begin.

Kroncke said that Anderson and Miller have already waived extradition back to Illinois.
