Car and Motorcycle Collide Friday on South End

A car and motorcycle collided Friday afternoon on Effingham's south end.

The crash occurred at 3:46pm, north of the intersection of Banker Street and Four Seasons Drive. City police report a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Paula Rector of Johnsonville sideswiped a motorcycle operated by 33-year-old Erica Holt of Neoga.

Holt was injured, but refused treatment. 

Rector was cited for improper lane usage and failure to signal when required.
