Clay City Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Clay City man was injured early Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash.

24-year-old Trenton Weaver was traveling south on Tower Road, about a quarter-mile south of US Route 50 in Clay County when the crash happened shortly before 5am.

State police report Weaver lost control of the cycle and rolled it into the right ditch, throwing Weaver from the unit. 

Weaver was airlifted to a regional hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Weaver was cited for DUI, driving while his license is revoked, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating the cycle on an expired registration.
